Eugenie Skilnand in White Darkness (ballet) at The Norwegian National Opera
These photos were shot by me during the documentation of one of the technical elements of this ballet, a box that poors 160Kg of salt like a waterfall down on the stage in about 1 1/2 minutes. The salt particles picked up a lot of speed and made a huge downdraft on the stage, making Eugenie's dress flutter in some of the pictures. The camera used was an Olympus digital camera set to 1600 iso, F4.5 (or thereabouts) 1/60. It's not my camera, I just borrowed it for these shots. Daily DeviationGiven 2008-12-27Is it drugs? A halo? Aliens messing up with a girl? No, in White Darkness I by ~CyBoy the misterious white dust we can see is salt, giving us such a misterious mood into this play's photography!
